Volunteer at Rogerson House
or Make a Donation

Do you have time or special talents that you can share?

As a Rogerson House Volunteer, your efforts can make a real difference in our help to people affected by memory loss and their family members. It’s one of the most rewarding experiences you may ever have, and we have a wide range of volunteer opportunities available and sincerely welcome your help. In particular, Volunteers are needed to assist Rogerson House memory care day program and assisted living staff and to:

  • Lead a music-related group with instrument or piano

  • Lead a religious group, say Rosary or Shabbat Services

  • Assist in large group activities

  • Lead a small group in crafts, coloring, sorting, gardening

  • Assist with walking groups outside the facility

  • Assist staff with resident outings

  • Assist at mealtimes

  • Be part of discussion groups

  • Be a friendly visitor to a resident every week

  • Assist with parties or special events

  • Bring a pet in to visit every week

Volunteers should have good communication skills, enjoy working with people of all ages – especially the elderly, and be flexible, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality as asked. Free parking is available on the premises, and all volunteers go through a training and orientation program.
