  • Rogerson House Memory Cafe Mondays

    Memory Cafe Mondays

On the third Monday of each month starting January 22nd, we will host a Memory Café. We invite caregivers and their loved ones to join us for entertainment, conversation, a warm and welcoming space and light refreshments. We offer these opportunities to the community as antidote to the isolation and repetitiveness that can sometimes be a reality of a caregiver responsible for an older adult with memory loss or other limitations.

Please join us for our first Memory Café Monday

    Monday January 22, 1p-230pm

    With musician Alexandra Connolly

At Rogerson House, the Support
Goes Beyond Our Doorstep

Rogerson House memory care assisted living, day program, and respite care in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood is committed to supporting those of our neighbors who are tasked with responsibility for people in their lives who need Alzheimer’s care, dementia treatment, or other cognitive memory care services. We are pleased to offer memory care support groups where friends and family members can share experiences, discuss ideas, and exchange resources as they learn from one another.

Note that these support groups go well beyond issues that are specific to our memory care assisted living residents, including caregivers supporting family members with dementia who are still living at home, spouses/partners of dementia sufferers, and more.

Contact us About Upcoming Activities

One of the many challenges of the current pandemic has been how to hold safe, yet still constructive support group activities. Usually, every month we would post downloadable PDFs of our Activities Calendars that include our upcoming support group activity dates, times, and locations. Until life is relatively back to normal, we encourage you to watch the Rogerson House Facebook and Instagram pages for announcements, and contact us directly if you are struggling with a situation involving a family member with cognitive issues who may need memory care. On our Calendars, you’ll also see the broad range of activities, events, and programs that we provide for our Assisted Living residents and Day Program participants.
